Whenever the name of Hugh pops up in a discussion, Dr. Gregory House makes an obvious entry, as the character has become an intrinsic part of him after portraying it in the hit television series, House MD.

Now we all know that he has been stacking dollars, as he is paid £250,000 per episode! This has made him one of the highest paid stars. But things don’t end here. 

A lot more is happening in Hugh’s life these days. 

He has been signed by L'Oreal Paris to be the face of their Men Expert products range.

Movie industry’s big shots like Gerard Butler and Patrick Dempsey are already riding the bandwagon, and Hugh has recently joined in. On being approached by L'Oreal Paris, Hugh said that at first he was a little hesitant about the job, but soon realized there’s more to it than just pretty faces. 

Certainly Hugh, for I see some more pay checks coming your way. Amidst all this work pouring, Hugh was also engaged in wrapping up the work that includes some extra effort from his vocal chords.

His music work, Let Them Talk, will be hitting the music stores on September 6.

Man, at what would this guy stop? I mean acting, singing, face of a global brand, and what not.

The actor, who is globally known for his flawless acting in popular series House, has broadened the horizon of his skills by bringing an all-new album with Blue named ‘Let Them Talk.’

The album is already a hit, and is topping the charts. Though it has turned out to be one of the most popular albums of 2011, it is facing stiff competition from Adele’s album.

Hugh Lauries God Made Him Cry

The actor Hugh Laurie, who entertains us with his character Dr. House in the show, had tears in his eyes. He disclosed this fact a few days back. But, before you jump to any conclusion, let me reveal that he wept in happiness!

Yes friends, that’s absolutely correct! He got the opportunity to work with his idol Dr. John and due to this, he couldn’t control his emotions.

Now don’t get confused with his title ‘Dr.’ Let me tell you that Dr. John isn’t concerned with the medical drama at all. However, he worked with Mr. Laurie in his upcoming debut album ‘Let Them Talk.’

Surprised! And guys, you don’t have to wait for his debut for long. ‘Let Them Talk’ will come by on May 9, 2011. 
Coming back to the scoop, Dr. John is a renowned pianist, actor and guitarist, who made his appearance in one of the songs recorded in for the album.

Hugh Laurie confessed to a magazine that he cried in his car after the recording was over. He couldn’t believe he worked with a man he worships. It was just like a dream come true!

So that’s how, Hugh’s ‘God’ made him cry!

This isn’t all that he divulged! In addition to that, he said that he almost got a heart attack when Dr. John agreed to make his presence in his upcoming release.
